Information for tenants of apartment building Logger I - Heemskerckstaete
Welcome in the Logger Heemskerckstaete building! We hope you will enjoy living in our building, and that you will soon feel at home.
The Heemskerckstaete building is managed by Paap VvE Beheer in Zandvoort; technical and construction matters are handled by the technical committee.
At least once a year Paap VvE Beheer organizes a meeting for all owners; financial subjects such as a long-term planning for the exploitation and maintenance of the building are discussed, whereas general matters concerning your apartment itself are decided upon as well during these meetings.
Mrs. B. Groenemeijer (no. 322) is the chairman of the Association of Owners of Logger I;
Technical defects in the building are to be reported to your landlord or directly to Mr. C. Mulder, the supervisor of the building. Please call him preferably before 2 p.m. His phone number is 06-511 93201,
Mr. Mulder is also responsible for the name tag on the board in the entrance; to avoid spelling mistakes please request your landlord to order this by e-mail to Mrs. Groenemeijer.
As stated in the Deed of Division into Apartments, your landlord is requested to leave an 'emergency address' for your apartment (or mobile phone number) with the Association of Owners. Kindly relay this information to Mrs. Groenemeijer,
Appearance and liveable surroundings of the building are greatly determined by all tenants. With this in mind we request you to pay attention to the following:
- Rental apartment Owners are requested to inform Paap VvE Beheer (email)- the administrative controller of the building - about the new tenants. Mr. van Schooneveld will submit a form to be signed by the tenants, in which tenants declare to be aware of the Domestic Rules of the Logger building.See Domestic Rules
- Entrance for visitorsThe doorbell panels outside and inside are not connected. During daytime, the door opener on your house phone only works when visitors ring your bell inside the building. After 9 p.m. you can open the door when visitors ring from the outside.
- Prevent theft and vandalismDo not admit strangers into the building; convince yourself that once you have opened the entrance door for a collector, he/she indeed is a collector.Also, please double-check that entrance and exit doors are locked; especially with strong wind the doors of the side-entrances do sometimes not close properly.
- Take measurements to prevent damagesWhen you are moving in or out of the building, or when you are transporting (building) materials, the floor of the elevators as well as the carpeting on your floor must be covered with cloth or hardboard. Mr. Mulder can assist you, if required. Damages to floor tiles, carpeting or paintwork will be repaired at the expense of your landlord.Bicycles are not supposed to be transported in the elevator. Please use one of the side-entrances when entering the building with your bicycle.
- Paint colorsIt is not allowed to apply another color on your balcony.
- Ventilation systemThe ventilation system in the building has been adjusted carefully. It is not allowed to remove and/or seal ventilation valves in your apartment, or connect them to a motorized ventilation system in the kitchen. The supervisor or the technical committee will check the compliance with this rule.To avoid bad odors in the complex, please clean the valves regularly.
- (Re) construction activitiesWe all understand that you will want to do some rebuilding in your apartment. But please refrain from constant drilling etc. during weekends and after 21.00 hours.Please use only one elevator when you are moving in or out, or when you are disposing construction materials. Do not forget to protect the carpeting, elevator and tiles in the entrance hall.
- CleaningThe entrance, entrance hall and elevators are cleaned twice a week.Should you accidentally drop or spill something in the public areas or elevators, you are kindly requested to clean this yourself.
- ElevatorsNever use the elevators in case of fire - use the staircases to leave the building instead.The elevators are not to be used for taking your bicycle(s) to your floor.
- GarbageYour garbage can be put in the underground garbage containers located at the left hand side of the entrance as you leave the building. Waste of vegetables, fruit and flower/plants can be disposed in the same containers as the normal garbage.Paper and cardboard must be disposed in the separate container located next to the building. Glass should not be thrown away together with the normal garbage, but be disposed in a separate container at the beginning of the Logger. Building materials, sofas, television sets, laundry machines, bath tubs, toilets, etc., are not collected by the regular dustbin lorry.Please call the special service of the municipality who will collect your rubbish ("grof vuil"). - SafetyIt is not allowed to put bicycles or household effects in the hallways, nor in the hallways where the storage-rooms are located. This is a fire brigade instruction! The cleaning service has been ordered to remove these articles.Please do not block the emergency exits with personal belongings.
